  1. General Paper, Project Work and Mother Tongue are compulsory H1 subjects. In addition, at least one content subject either at the H1 or H2 level should be contrasting.
  2. Students may be exempted from taking H1 Mother Tongue if they have obtained D7 or better for their Higher Mother Tongue at the ‘O’ level.
  3. Students with L1R5 ≤ 11 may be offered an additional H2 content subject in place of the H1 content subject.

  1. * Students must have L1R5 ≤ 11 to be offered the 4 H2 combination.
  2. Mother Tongue Language & Literature may be taken in place of any H2 subject in any subject combination and will be offered to students who meet the subject pre-requisite.
  3. Students who meet the subject pre-requisite may take Knowledge and Inquiry as a 4th H2 subject in lieu of GP.
  4. The College may be unable to offer certain subject combinations due to time-tabling constraints. Students will be given the option of selecting alternative combinations in such instances.
  5. Students are strongly advised to visit http://www.moe.gov.sg/cpdd/alevel2006/ for information regarding entry requirements to courses at the local Universities before choosing their subject combinations.
