Bedok North Secondary (BNSS) started in 1981, sharing premises with Temasek Secondary School. On 4 January 1982, it moved to its new camp at 354 Bedok North Avenue 3. However, to cater to the increasing demand for places in secondary 1, the school moved to a bigger school at 20 Jalan Damai on 4 December, 1999.
