Our Parent Support Group (PSG) was formed on 8 February 2001 with only 30 parent volunteers on board. Today, we have over 50 parent volunteers who continue to dedicate their time and energy in all our school programmes and improvement projects.

| The PSG was formed to give our parents a voice in our school. It serves as a support network for parents to share their ideas and concerns on school issues. |

Our parent volunteers play an invaluable part in the school by being involved in areas such as road crossing, library, buddy reading, learning journeys, tuckshop duties and activities held on major school events. Their involvement has lightened our teachers’ non-teaching load and freed up time for the teachers to concentrate more on the professional work. |

| When Kahlil Gibran said: "You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give." How true this is of our PSG! In Dazhong, we are indeed blessed with many supportive parents who have talents, expertise and experience to enrich the social, emotional and intellectual growth of our pupils. |
