The school has been awarded the '
Development Award For Character Development' by the Ministry of Education in recognition for its efforts in designing and implementing a school-wide character development programme.

The school's character development programme looks into three important aspects, namely ‘Leadership, ‘Citizenship’ and ‘Lifeskills’. Character development is carried out with the intent of looking into the physical and emotional well-being of pupils as well as to groom them into responsible, confident and morally upright individuals. The school-wide implementation of character development is done through both the formal and informal curriculum.

The informal curriculum comprises Morning CDP, Leadership Programme, Community Involvement Programme (CIP), P5 Camp, Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) and Assembly Programme.
