• reflect on what aspects of our own learning helped us understand the essential concepts and ideas
• review the developmental and learning theories that help us understand children’s development and how we can use it to inform our classroom practices.
• consider effective pedagogical strategies (curriculum customization) that will help us engage learners

Participants of last years' Teacher Attachment will share on how blogging has been used as a reflective tool.

Music In Harmony

This 1½ hour workshop is designed to provide students with an inquiry-based and cooperative learning experience, utilizing an environment different from what they are used to. Students will explore ideas, engage in hands-on activities, and work collaboratively in a mini performance.

Sc Exploria  is in the process of developing inquiry –based materials that  are based on the Eco-system model that  is in the hosting school, East Spring Primary School . The set of materials will be given to all primary schools in the East Zone. This workshop will train teachers on the use of the new EIBL package.

CheMystery Trail

Given a specific challenge, pupils will learn to make inferences and conclusions through engaging in a series of scientific experiments and investigative tasks.  Pupils will be exposed to some aspects of Secondary science such as qualitative analysis, chromatography, etc.

 

Teachers will also be learning how to organize such activities for their school.
