Overview

This year the Department focuses on Student-Centred Learning (SCL) with a full implementation of SCL based on the revamped Sec 1 Geography and History as well as Sec 2 History SOWs.

Programmes and Activities

Some of the activities participated by the students are:

• National Weather Study Project
• Kent Ridge Trail (collaborative event organized by all departments of Kent Ridge Secondary School)
• Field trip to Bejing, China
• Courseline Cruise Field trip

Progress and Achievements

• Achieved an above National Average of Passing Percentage for GCE 'N' Levels 2005 for the 3rd Year Running
• Achieved abve expectations results in Mean Subject Grade for GCE 'O' Levels Combined Humanities
