Overview

The Mother Tongue Languages Department which comprises 8 diligent teachers, is dedicated in helping Kent Ridge Secondary achieve excellence in Mother Tongue languages, as well as inculcating a love for the subject. We will continue to develop our staffs and work with our partners to support student's learning and development through understanding that language and culture have important effects on the ways in which we view ourselves and the world in which we live.   Our Vision To develop students to become a learned person in Mother Tongue Languages, cultures and values who contribute to society. Our Mission To equip students with a repertoire of language skills, processes and strategies.
