Overview

The Student Development Committee supports the academic, social, emotional and aesthetic development of Kent Ridgeans to be individuals who have sound social and moral values and an appreciation for the arts. Our approach is to foster a culture of care and respect with our students and their parents where we are able to cater to Students' needs through well-being services and programmes Students' personal growth through lifeskills and character education, leadership programmes and collaboration with the community

Progress and Achievements

• Parent Support Group (PSG)  raised $1 000 for the Needy Pupil Fund from the sale of Chinese New Year cookies and Mothers’ Day bouquets of artificial roses and Ferero Roche chocolates.
• PSG member, Mrs Elsie Chua obtained sponsorship of ICI paints for WOW members to complete 2 staircase art murals.
• PSG members sponsored the cost of the Youth Day card printing that made possible for teachers to write personalized messages to students for Youth Day.
• WOW Members set up a Balloon Sculpturing Stall at 2006 MOE ExCEL Fest at Fairfield Methodist Primary School entertaining , teaching and presenting visitors with their creations.
