Principal's Message

Dear Parents,

Welcome to 2006! Hope all of you had a wonderful and rested year-end holiday. At the start of the New Year, I would like to share with you the school’s main focuses for 2006. We look forward to your keen participation and close partnership with our teachers in helping our pupils cultivate a life-long love for learning.

Nan Hua Primary’s main focuses for 2006 will be in Teaching and Learning. This is in line with our mission to provide pupils with an all-round education catering to their moral, academic, physical, aesthetic and social needs. Through innovative teaching pedagogies supported by new assessment modes, we want to effectively fuel our students’ excitement about learning in encouraging them to go beyond the textbooks with an inquisitive spirit and a right attitude.

More importantly, we want to make a long-term impact in developing our pupils into individuals with dynamic adaptability to the future workplace. This motivates us to develop pupils with strong employability skills such as communications and relationship management, problem solving and decision-making, initiative and entrepreneurship, lifelong learning, global mindset and work-related life skills.

It is to this end that we constantly provide platforms, such as Be Yourself Day, project work, Primary 6 graduation ceremony, to encourage our pupils to take initiatives in trying out new ideas. In the New Year, we would like to create even more platforms to hear the voices from our pupils and to encourage our younger pupils to share their ideas.

On behalf of the family members of NHPS, we would like to welcome our new batch of primary ones and their families into our Nan Hua family. We look forward to your continuous support in the great year ahead!

Principal, Mrs Lee Hui Feng
