Post Exam Letter to Parents

8 May 2007

Dear Parents/Guardians

LESSON SCHEDULE (14 – 25 MAY 2007)
As the mid-year examination draws to a close on 11 May 2007 , the school has planned a comprehensive lesson schedule to meet the needs of each level.

Besides the checking of exam scripts for all levels on 17 and 18 May 2007 , lessons and other learning activities have been specially planned so that during the last two weeks of Term 2, all pupils are engaged in meaningful learning activities.

A detailed schedule of your child/ward’s lessons has been attached for your reference. Attendance is compulsory for all students as lessons would continue as per normal when there are no other learning activities.

For 4E/5N pupils, there will be intensive Mother Tongue lessons to prepare them for their upcoming GCE ‘O’ Level Mother Tongue examinations on 28 May 2007 . Selected 4NA/NT pupils taking coursework subjects will be given intensive sessions.

Secondary 2 and 3 pupils will be completing their Integrated Project Work (IPW) which is compulsory. Marks from IPW would be included in each student’s Continual Assessment (CA) marks for Semester 2. Secondary 1 pupils will be engaged in Math Project Work which is graded and form part of Math CA marks in Semester 2.

The school’s programmes are aimed at developing the students academically, physically and aesthetically. We strongly encourage that pupils attend all lessons and activities and make full use of the learning opportunities offered.

For more information about the lesson schedule, please refer to your child/ward’s Form Teacher. We look forward to meeting you at the mid-year Meet-The-Parents session on 25 and 26 May 2007 as well as the Parent-Teacher-Association (PTA) AGM on 26 May 2007. Detailed information about these events would be available closer to the dates.

Thank you.

Yours faithfully
Mdm Choy Wai Yin
