Objectives

To reach out to more students playing to basketball in the school
To develop young basketball talents
To promote racial mix through sports participation

Brief Description

The bi-weekly training sessions aim to achieve the above objectives. Competitively, the players are training under two teams, the Senior Boys and Senior Boys, to take part in the West Zone Inter Primary School Basketball Competition held annually. As the competition is usually held during the period of late January to early February, students are expected to attend training sessions during the year-end vacation.
Training is conducted by a qualified external coach, co-ordinated by the teachers-in-charge.

Targets

To take part in West Zone Inter Primary Schools Basketball competition and make it to Round Two.

Activities

Bi-weekly training sessions and training sessions during holiday period on ad-hoc basis.

Targeted Level: Primary 3 to Primary 6 Boys

Day and Time of Meeting

Tuesdays and Fridays, 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
