INDIAN DANCE GROUP

SYF Dance Photos

 

 

Objectives:
1) Anthonians to be exposed to various dance movements.
2) Dance members to be trained to perform for classical, folk & contemporary
dance.
3) Dance members to perform for school events.


Brief Description :
The Indian dance group was first started in St. Anthony’s Primary School in the year 1993. Since then, Anthonians are being trained by a professional dance instructress, Mrs VasugiDevi. Under her guidance, dance members have taken part in the Singapore Youth Festival.


Targets:
1) Pupils to be exposed to at least 2 dance items.
2) To train the pupils for Singapore Youth Festival 2008.

Activities:
1) To take part in Racial Harmony Day.
2) To participate in Prize-Giving Day.
3) To take part in SYF 2008 competition.
4) To attend a Cultural Exposure Programme.

Targeted Level: P3 to P5


Day and Time of Meeting: Every Wednesdays, 1.30 – 3.30p.m.
