INFOCOMM CLUB

Objectives

1) Pupils will learn how to produce a good video or movie using digital video camera and a video editing software.

2) Pupils will learn and apply the skills of digital video production including camera operation, video editing, and post production techniques in order to produce a short educational video.

3) Pupils will learn good oral communication skills using ICT.

4) Pupils will be able to contribute their services back to the school and community.


Brief Description


The school’s Infocomm Club was established in Jan 2007. Our focus area is in digital media.

Run in partnership with industry and other institutions, the Infocomm Club activities include training, project work, mentorship, competitions and collaboration with other schools, locally and internationally.

The students in the Infocomm Club can sign up for Infocomm Connect. Infocomm Connect is a series of dialogue sessions to impress upon students the excitement and prospects of an infocomm career. The session will involve sharing and personal success stories by industry leaders, some of whom may be former students of the school. Click here to download the registration form.

Targets
1) To recruit at least 30 members
2) To train pupils to be proficient in the use of news broadcasting and video editing softwares.
3) To train pupils to be proficient in using digital cameras and taking digital photos.
4) To train pupils to be proficient in using digital video camera and making video clips.
