Objectives
:
1. To develop an appreciation for Taekwondo as
a sport and as an art
2. To achieve physical fitness through positive
participation and discipline
3. To learn self defence skills
4. To develop a sense of responsibility for one
self and others
Brief
Description
Taekwondo is a sport that helps in the physical
and mental development of the human body. It promotes
stamina, flexibility, speed, strength and self-confidence.
Pupils will also go for grading 3 times a year
during April, July and October.
Targets
To achieve the Junior Blackbelt by Primary 6.
Activities
Training is held once a week. Anthonians are also
exposed to sparring.
