Our school is organizing a school-community event, the Colours of Life, in celebration of racial harmony at the East Coast Park on Friday,18 July 2008, from 8.30am to10.30.Mr.Abdullah Tarmugi,Speaker of Parliament and MP for East Coast Park GRC,will grace the occasion as our Guest of Honour.
This Year ,the Programme Focuses on service learning as staff,pupils and parents of different races work in teams and participate in different community invovement activities at the park.
Programme for the day is as follows:
- Arrival at Causuarina Grove,East Coast Park
- Morning Workout
- Arrival of Guest of Honour
- Address by Guest of Honour
- Tree Planting by Guest of Honour
- CIP activities:
- P1 & P2- Ventriloquist performance, Art & craft activities and competition
- P3 & P4 - Tree sapling Planting/Park cleaning
- P5&P6- Beach cleaning
- Sale of crafts
- Exibition by NEA & NParks
- Dismissal

2008 National Primary School
Comics Competition (Singapore)
26 April 2008, Singapore Chinese Girl's School
We would like to congratulate 10 of our P6 Pupils who were amongst the top 100 out of 3832 entries to qualify for the final round of the Singapore competition which was held last Saturday 26 April 2008 at Singapore Chinese Girl's School.
At the Singapore finals , one of our teams from 6B ,Yao Shen Yan & Ng Ying Jie has done us proud.They are amongst the top 23 teams who will represent Singapore to pitch against the representatives from Hong Kong, Taiwan and China at the Asia Pacific Comics Competition to be held on 2nd August 2008 at the Creative Technology. |
